Raymond Hixson started running a dragline crane at his family's sand and gravel quarry when he was 17 years old. He's 75 now. Ground is Broken on New Fisher Hill Elementary School in Orange, Mass.

Several shovelfuls of dirt on Oct. 15 got construction of the new Fisher Hill Elementary School under way in Orange, Mass.
