IAAP Scholarships Promote Industry

Five Illinois students have been selected to receive IAAP Education Foundation Scholarships for 2019. The recipients were announced at the annual IAAP Convention, which was held in Springfield, Ill., March 5 to 7. The following students will receive scholarships of $2,000 or more: Richard Howser, Southern Illinois University, majoring in mining engineering; Kensington Kissel, Southern Illinois University, majoring in mining engineering; Abigail Knight, Eastern Illinois University, majoring in geology and geography; Joshua Malone, Augustana College, majoring in geology and geography; Madeline Meyer, Joliet Township High School, who will choose a university soon and plans to study environmental science or engineering....

Ground is Broken on New Fisher Hill Elementary School in Orange, Mass.

Several shovelfuls of dirt on Oct. 15 got construction of the new Fisher Hill Elementary School under way in Orange, Mass.
