Virginia Governor Taps VDOT To Lead 'Zero Death' Initiative

The Virginia Department of Transportation, along with the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles, Virginia State Police, and other state agencies, is being tasked to lead a statewide effort to join the Toward Zero Deaths or TZD movement, which includes a new website, www.TZDVA.org. NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
