TxDOT Breaks Ground on RM 2900 Replacement Bridge

The Texas Department of Transportation, along with state and local officials from Llano County, held a groundbreaking ceremony on Nov. 16 to celebrate the construction of the RM 2900 replacement bridge, which began just three weeks after raging floodwaters washed away the old one. The Oct. 16 flood along the Llano River arm of Lake LBJ was the largest flooding event since 1935....

NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
