Amazon Fulfillment Center Rises Near Birmingham

A $325 million fulfillment center being built by Amazon will have a dramatic impact on the city of Bessemer, Ala., when it opens in 2019. The online retail giant is constructing the 855,000-sq.-ft. building just outside of Birmingham, providing new opportunities to the community. Ground is Broken on New Fisher Hill Elementary School in Orange, Mass.

Several shovelfuls of dirt on Oct. 15 got construction of the new Fisher Hill Elementary School under way in Orange, Mass.
