Yoder & Frey reported that the specialist one-day, off-site Quarry, Aggregate & Mining Surplus disposal sale that it was appointed to organize in Friedens, Pa., on Sept. 27 was a real success. A number of high specification, good quality and well maintained specialist pieces of equipment along with an assortment of 20-plus ton excavators, dozers, scrapers, rigid dump trucks and a good selection of wheeled loaders all went under the hammer and created considerable international interest with strong prices and a large influx of first time bidders and buyers attending....

NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
