DOT Announces $366.2M in Grants to Improve Bus Infrastructure Nationwide

U.S. Transportation Secretary Elaine L. Chao announced Sept. 25, that the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) will award $366.2 million in grants to improve the safety and reliability of America's bus systems and enhance mobility for transit riders. A total of 107 projects in 50 states and territories will receive funding from FTA's Buses and Bus Facilities Infrastructure Investment Program....

NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
