Construction on Historic Grand Isle Drawbridge to Begin in July in Vt.

NORTH HERO, Vt. (AP) Officials will begin repairs on Vermont's last historic drawbridge this summer. WFFF-TV reports construction on the North Hero-Grand Isle Drawbridge will start in July. The project is expected to be completed in 2022. The bridge is located near Ladd's Landing Marina. Local business owners said construction will affect drivers and boat traffic....

NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
