Volvo Construction Equipment put in a strong performance in the fourth quarter of 2017, helping its parent company, the Volvo Group, achieve the highest sales and operating income in its history. Improved competitiveness coupled with growing demand — especially in Asia — helped Volvo CE deliver strong improvements in sales, operating income and order intake. In Q4 2017, net sales increased by 28 percent to SEK 16,733 M (13,110)….

NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
