Upstate N.Y. Veterans Medical Center to Receive $141M

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. (AP) Construction funding totaling $141 million has been allocated for an upgrade to an upstate New York veterans medical center. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will issue construction bids in August for the Canandaigua (kan-un-DAY'-gwuh) Veterans Affairs Medical Campus. NY Public Library to See $317M Renovation

The main branch of the New York Public Library will undergo extensive renovations to the tune of $317 million after receiving approval from its board of trustees Nov. 15. Dutch architecture firm Mecanoo and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle developed the plan, Curbed reported.
